Talk about a star…not even a star in the making. Janelle Monae’s performance at the Key Club was phenomenal. A singer with extreme talent, charisma and pizazz wowed the sh*t out of anyone who didn’t know…

Last night was just an alllll around dope night…Tunji from Inverse was in the house, as well as several classmates from college, filmmakers and Puff Daddy. Yes, Puff Daddy. It’s crazy, he said when he initially contacted her about signing, she ignored him! How dope is that right? Big Boi was definitely in the house and was taking pictures and helped announce her to the stage.

When I say I’m lucky to have met and seen this performer live, I think I’m understating the experience for both of us…You just had to be there.
